The Kieni Factory is part of the Mugaga Farmers Cooperative Society, comprising about 1000 farmers. It is located in the Nyeri County of Kenya with an altitude of 1650-1750 m.a.s.l. The coffee is grown in deep red volcanic soil that is rich in organic matter under a rainfall of 1000-1200 mm p.a.
